What makes the "pop" of an adjustment?
Answer:
Many people think that the sound that often occurs during an adjustment is from bones rubbing on bones. But in fact, it is the release of pressure from gas and fluids in the joint, much like opening a can of soda or pulling a suction cup dart from a smooth surface.Archived list of all questions
