Dear Participants,Thanks for making our first annual Kids Day America a smashing success! An event of this size can only be successful when people and businesses work together. Your generosity made it possible for us to screen over 100 children for spinal problems, such as vertebral subluxation, scoliosis and backpack-related problems; raise money and public awareness for the Dougy Center for Grieving Children and Families; and introduce the natural approach to health through chiropractic to more than 35 families in the east Portland area. Without you, we couldn't have done it. Thanks for being such a great "neighbor!"

On Saturday, September 21, 2002, Chiropractic Offices worldwide participated in the seventh annual "Kids Day America/International," a Health, Safety, and Environmental Awareness Day.
Dr. Rick Allen co-sponsored the event locally at his clinic in NE Portland.
Community leaders provided essential information on
- crime prevention
- child safety
- environmental awareness
Dr. Allen provided FREE
- spinal exams
- scoliosis screenings
- backpack safety check for kids
- vital printed information on disease prevention and specific health issues that affect children
- balloons and snacks
- special giveaways and prize drawings!
